Is the existence of a State of Palestine more important that the freedom of the people of the area?

Sometimes it seems so. Maybe truly what Palestine wants is freedom and not really self rule.

Its looks that the self rule is a want of power and pride and not so much of governance.

It is hard to understand why there should be a Palestine mini state squeezed in between Jordan and Israel when there are so many other Arab states over vast areas of this world and that are not even populated well. There probably should be a re-drawing of the whole map of the middle east where large empty countries like Egypt , Iraq , Turkey , Saudi Arabia , and Syria should give land to the smaller countries like Palestine , Jordan , Lebanon and Israel. Then there will be a true peace.

There is no State of Palestine and never there has been one in the whole History of the world. The Land of Israel, since the Jews were expelled by the Romans into the last exile of almost 2000 years, the Land of Israel has been an encrust of territory passing from hand to hand throughout these 1,948 years and never became a Palestine State. So, the Palestinian Arabs have no right at all to claim that the Land of Israel has ever been a Palestine State.
