THESE ARE TERMS that werent there during muhammad{saw} time but as intellectual eras grew,they had to be formed so that we,muslims,take notice of the good,the bad and the ugly
a case in point is the CONCEPT OF TAUHID...it wasnt there in a written form during the prophetic years as there was no need,,,people learned directly from the prophet and his 4 right guided emissaries....but when religion spread far and wide into africa,europe,the orient,the americas and the carribean,there was fear of dilution of the concept of GODHEAD IN HS UNITY..why? alot of new converts were mixing TRADITIONAL WORSHIP WITH HIS OMNIPOTENCE and it is from here that there developed THE CONCEPT OF TAUHID WHICH IS MADE OF THREE BRANCHES:

TAUHID RUBUBIYYAH...ONNESS IN HIS SOVEREIGNITY
TAUHID ULUHIYAH.....ONNESS IN HIS WORSHIP
TAUHID AL ASMA WAL SIFFAT...ONNESS IN HIS ATTRIBUTES

the above three are all current legislations that ulamah came up with to make sure that muslims understand who GOD is and how we ought to give HIM his due and it is not BIDIAH BUT A RIGHTEOUS WAY OF STUDYING..
