Is it true that obama will turn america into a socialist country??

From what I've read in Newsweek Obama's plans will move us closer to a sort of European socialism, with more responsibility placed on the federal government.

Why would he put the power in the hands of the government when all of the people have been embezzling money from America?

Definitely, yes...have a tea party...don't let this happen. Once it does, there's no turning back if you don't like it...and, you won't. A country is first, its people and its set of laws (The Constitution). But, it is equally, its economy which, is the very living of its citizens. Governments are only necessary to run the military and provide for infrastructures and things like that...and the courts. The real meat and potatoes of a strong country lies in its economy. We have capitalism - the most natural form of economies...the only one that is a true, free economy. Governments get their money by taking it from the people who work in the economy - taxes. So, anyone who is for bigger government is for higher taxes...because governments love to tax people. Capitalism is what we have and what has made us what we are...a rich, prosperous country. Socialism will ruin that.

This problem can not be laid entirely on the shoulders of Obama himself. Yes, I would definitely venture to say that the Obama administration is an ardent socialist bunch hell bent on the banking cartels and Wall Street being far more successful than the average American sheep.

The two administrations prior to the election of Obama's Czarist Regime cleared the path for the policies that he is implementing now. With out the sneaky tactics of the Clinton administration for eight years and the doubling of the federal government and constitution burning parties of the brutal Bush administration Obama wouldn't have the powers that are at his disposal today.

This is not a Republican or a Democrat issue, the last forty years have proven only one thing...the take over of all American wealth via the Executive Branch, one President passing off the ill-gotten powers to the next in succession in order to fulfill an agenda that will not require "parties" at all...one leader and a hand full of Czars!

YES

Never will America let this happen,this mixing pot might fight with each other within ourselves,but when and if push came to shove we would make sure that we banded together to make sure that no government would over throw the people! One big help in this issue was sending jobs over seas,it should have never happend,and letting just anyone cross our boarders illaglely,both have let the government have power that they took and buried some of thier bad actions. Don't even get me started on the media. Americans need to stop being so lazy and do something worth while. Me included.

Why not. The capitalists bankrupted the country,you can't get worse than that.
Apart from electing another republican to office.
