Is it humanly possible to simply drive across a ocean which is one third frozen, In a vehicle, which weighs approximatly 2000 kilograms and is 4.2 meters in length?

I have pondered this question for many years of my life. For years I have studied the consistency of the ice that forms in the Northern/Atlantic Ocean, but i am still not sure if it is possible, or safe for that matter to drive on it with a vehicle that is a fairly large size. Your comments are appreciated.
