Men are masculine in nature and they know that for a fact... even a wimpy man knows that! I, myself, find it very rude to push a girl how much more if you compare it to something like he does when he wants to start a fight? but if you guys know each other pretty well then i guess that pushing usually comes naturally just like how I treat my close friends...

In short, the mere fact that he taps you on your back and pushes you when he's saying goodbye means that he already treats you as a closest of friends and if you really like the guy, do not dismay! He may eventually notice you and from what i've heard relationships that started from friendship are much more stronger than those built from scratch(strangers perse)!
