Is Mr. Griffin that bad?

In chapter five, I see Mr. Griffin completely different. He explains his reason for being tough on the students. He could back off a little but what he does is deffinetely not reason enough to kidnap or kill him. It makes me sad to know he will die, because he seems to be a good husband, and he is about to have a baby.

Completely agreed. But if otherwise, being a strict teacher isn't reason enough to kidnap him, anyway.
