Interested in doing a 4night, 5 day canoe/kayak trip on the choctawhatchee river ending @ the gulf/bay, if I wanted to average about 12-15 miles a day, what would be the suggested put in. Also, I understand there should be a good amount of camping along the river, is this true and also is there good opportunities for supplies along the way and anything else to suggest, for the trip to see/do. We have done a couple of trips this length of the suwannee river with no problems and had a great time. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Also anywhere to get water levels and info on what to expect with the different water levels. We are thinking of end of March or beginning of April.
