In today's world and with future younger men to join , I ask weather it should be necessary to retain the wording as well
as the requirement of being memorized for the Degree rites.
I am a new member of the first Degree team for the first time
and find this to be difficult, making me unwilling.
Being read has still delivered the same value.
"Because we always did it this way" , is not acceptable.

I'm 76 & one of the youngest in our council.
This year I'm handling the Tootsie Roll sales and would like to point out their size = very , very small.This deserves some attention.
We do not sell Tootsie Rolls, we seek donations, people really think we are in the Tootsie Roll sales business.
I think we should change this image.People should know why we
do Tootsie Roll programs and who they benefit.
I think we need a strong advertising program nationally to
make aware the populace as to "WHO ARE THESE KNIGHTS, who solicit monies and what do they do with the money.
