In the late '8o's my son and I were tested for scotopic sensitivity. We both have it. We can see well but our reading speed and conprehension are greatly curtailed. We received overlays. My question is, "What is going to happen now that incandescent lights are being discontinued in favor of fluorescents because they are more energy efficient? I need incandescent lighting to read and have a lot of trouble with fluorescents.
