In my county, we have over 40 miles of shoreline adjacent to the Atlantic Ocean, with a large number of points that collect tide information. When looking at potential hurricane related evacuations, how significant is the tide difference between points in a county? In otherwords, would an average of 4 major inlets give enough information rather than specific analysis of several data points?
