In WP12 Tables, I cannot change several columns from "commas" to "Text".
I enter a check number and it becomes dollars.
ie:

Fund Amt. Check #
Chairs 20.00 125
Lamp 50.00 129
Book 13.00 141

The check #'s appear as dollars;
125.00, 129.00 & 141.00

I've tried formatting to "Text", but it remains in dollars.
Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong?
