In Chatham June 1941 an Fw 200 flew over very low. I threw myself on the ground and I still have the scar from the broken jamjar I fell on!.
As the plane flew over I saw the RAF roundels. We used to see RAF German types from West Malling, these were flown for the benefit of the local AA gunners.
But I cannot find any reference to a captured Fw 200 bomber. The type with the distinguishing ventral gondola.
Can anyone provide some information?
