In BJTs in active mode , its seen that in the common-base configuration collector current is pretty much independent of collector-base voltage whereas in common-emitter configuration there is a definite dependence of collector current on the reverse bias of the collector-base junction, which is attributed to early effect.
Why is early effect not so prominent in common-base configuration ?
