I'm preparing a pictorial Family tree.
My great-grandfather Thomas Perram plus wife Eliza & 5 kids, including my grandfather Luke aged almost 4, formerly of Ashcott, Somerset, arrived at the port of Launceston on the barque Arab on 31 March 1842. They arrived "Under the Bounty" and went to work somewhere near Longford - Thomas was a farm labourer.
What I would like is an image of the port as it looked at that time.
Does anyone know of such?
