Im not bad at maths, can work out volume of cubes and spheres[had a whale of a time with the last one but now cracked it], the rice doubling on chessboard is of course quite fascinating and 1st heard it nearly 50 yrs ago in school and had great fun recently bringing it back to life working out various things out about it..... but what is the total number of rice on the chessboard in cubic miles ? grains of rice in a one and a half inch cube is about 2,100 and iv'e also worked out the amount for the 64th square but up to now i'm at a loss how to work out how to cube the total number of rice. can anyone help !

p.s. if any of you wizards out there can explain how to do this .. i will progress to the next step, can you guess what this is ?
