I'm Planning to do an oriented strand board out of peanut hulls and my objective is to test its strength, water absorption, thermal expansion and thickness swelling.

MY CONCERN IS,if a peanut hulls would be good in terms of THERMAL INSULATION in a 3/32 inch size can it also improve the results of my objectives specially the thermal expansion????
or it will only weakened my oriented strand board
