Im 59 yrs old, i was told i had a polyp at the top of my ulterus. my dr. did a d&c, because i had bleed for a month. he tried to remove the polyp while he did the d&c, but could not remove it. said i should have a histerectomy. i refused at that time. it was in 2005. i have not had anymore bleeding since then. what im wanted to know should i go have a histerectomy. dont no if they can shrienk, or grow, or become cancer. it was not cancer in 2005? thamks mary
