Histology

I'm 29 years old and thinking about going to school for Histotechnology. I am just looking for insight from people already working in this field. I'd like to know the pros and cons, what to expect for a salary , and what kind of hours I can expect to work. If there is anything anyone can tell me, it will be greatly appreciated. thank you.
