Tidal power

If tidal power was brought in in a big way, would A the earth stop moving,...B we have no more fish? This is a very damaging technology in these two important ways. Fish loss in particuar is unacceptable, although your kids could live to see longer days. Is not wave power much better and cheaper? plus it can be set up anywhere in the world where there is a good swell.
