If the Hebrews/Israelites are descandants from Shem, how is it possible that the Cushite Ethiopeans are Semitic.

Surely, the Ethiopeans ought to be part of the Hamitic group, as Ham was the ancestor of the Africans, and Hebrews are definitely not of African descent.

I was told, Semitic means half black. Is this true?
