Hebrew calendar

If I'm not mistaken, the 1st day of the Hebrew calendar starts on the day when they were leaving Egypt after the night all the first born of Egypt were killed by God.

Is the present day Hebrew calendar the same as the calendar in the Torah?

As for the first question, thr day the hebrews left Egypt was the 15th of Nession. when translated means their flight. and the modern calendars are close to the ones in the Tora. me.but not the sa
