If I succeed the first steps of making tempeh, can I use a slow-cooker set on low to incubate my beans? I have mad yoghurt by simply wrapping a bowl in towels and some blankets, using good live culture. Cd this work with tempeh too? Is there any risk to tempeh, such as food poisoning?
