I would like to plant either a Deodor cedar or an Atlas Blue cedar in my front yard. The property is located within Sunset zone 15. I believe that this zone would provide a good growing climate for either species. I am looking for fast growth, at least 2-3 ft/yr and good spread as I'm trying to block the view of an unsightly power pole with transformer from the front windows upstairs & downstairs. I would very much appreciate feedback as to which species would appear the most spectacular in terms of drooping branches, etc.
