I would like to know more of George Beurlings life after 1944 does anyone know if he returned to England later in 1944 ? why is so little known about his movements post war ? and why was such a brave combatant taken out of active service so close to D-day ? did he go under cover for some reason ? why all the mystery.Enough time has passed surely to open files on this brave man.
