I would be interested to hear if anyone knows of the reputation of Bernard Evans Ward in the U.S. I have acquired a major painting of his from his London years and am doing some research into that period. If anyone knows of the whereabouts of any of his American works, I would be glad to hear. Are any of his held by public institutions and on public view?

He appears to have made a living as a professional painter for many years, but information on him is scant. Anything would be helpful.
