I work at the Neighborhood Music School in Boyle Heights, CA. From 1944 - 1947 there was a tribute fund collected in honor of Charles Wakefield Cadman, and members of the Bureau of Music were responsible for a Memorial for him. A Mrs. Norman W. Giesy was Chairman of the Tribute Fund.
Does anyone know if he taught at the Neighborhood Music School while he lived in Los Angeles? Is his sister, Mrs. Maybell Cadman Cascino, still alive? or one of their relatives?
