I wonder if Mark has more of a vengeance for Mr.Griffin then the other students do. He seems like he knows exactly what to do. And then when he sets the cat on fire, that's just not normal.

Yep, Mark is obviously very very capable of extreme violence if he can set fire to a cat. Very important--police often find that serial killers began their paths with acts of animal cruelty.
