I was watching a program on a European Gun Manufacturer. In particular about the gun stock finish. They use a hand rubbed linseed oil, that they said they add a hardener to. I know it can harden on its own given time, but if this hardener increases the hardening time, or hardness of the finish I would like to know. Can anyone tell me what this hardener could be?
