I was at Stavanger airport in 1975.My husband flew out to the north sea oil rigs. I recall the helicopters would hover for quite a few minutes before take off. why was this so? I have a friend who was a pilot with British air ways, he does not agree with me,even so. I used to watch the aircraft until it disappeared into the blue. I just need someone to verity that this actually happened. Regards GMK
