I want to buy my moms 1972 240z. We are trying figure a fair price for it. She bought it in 1981 for $2000. It is not restored but has been well maintained. It was painted by the dealer when she bought it but is in decent condition considering the age of the paint job. It mas minimal body defects such as door dings, but no larger dents. It needs the usual minor tweaks any old car needs, but has not been driven for approx 5 yrs. The interior is good except for the seats which should be redone. The air conditioner compressor probably needs replaced. It has probably 350,000 miles on it. What is a fair price for it?
