I thought Curtis Manning was one of the bright spots on the then new show, 24. He was a very serious, dedicated and loyal agent. In the mind of the shows creators, I suppose, he was quietly and unintentionally upstaging Jack and thus they decided to kill him off. If Agent curtis had to be killed off, it should have been done by the enemy, but most certainly not by Jack Bauer - a move that discussed me so that I almost gave up on the show. Everytime I watch 24, I think of Agent Curtis now and then. Curtis, I hope you land some real good gigs in the future, you are certainly deserving of it.
