I saw a movie pre John Wayne "True Grit", that was the same story. Can't remember who it stared, but the french side kid had a true french accent. Never saw it again nor heard of it. Did the studio buy it up. What happen. Don't even find a listing where one was made. But it was shown on TV a few weeks before Wayne's True Grit came out. Anyone else ever seen or heard of it?
