I rescued a Umbrella Cockatoo who has some sort of feather
problem. He doesnt produce any powder and his feathers look really dingy and dirty but nothing I have bathed him with seems to clean his feathers. He gets bathed 2 to 3 times a week but never looks clean. I have a Goffin Cockatoo who is just snow white but Bunky just looks terribly dirty. Also his feathers are so thin that you can
see through them. When they are wet they are really hard to dry. I have had him to vet to no avail. His skin is just black black and you can see her skin in places through his feathers. If anyone knows anything about this please let me know. I had both cockatoos out of the cage and had on black shorts the one leg was covered in powder and the other had none. I am really worried about him.
