I rescued 2 red eared sliders and this will be my first winter with them. I live in Southern california and they have been happy in my 4'X7' pond this summer. I need to find a way to keep them out for the winter. I have heated the water. I have a total inclosed area so predators will not bother them. Is there a way that I can successfully heat their area?
