I remember in our science class at school in Glasgow, Scotland, that we pronounced the bunsen burner as a BOONsen burner, as opposed to BUNsen burner, like it's spelled.
I don't know if anyone else pronounces it like we did at school.
Can someone please tell me the proper way to pronounce Robert Bunsen's last name.
