I recently drove a Volvo and had a problem getting my fingers to remember that there are two notches that determine you choice of speed. This was on a semi truck for a trucking company in Utah. The truck would accelerate to an advance speed, speeding to the preset speed as if you just stomped on the accelerator. The truck would speed down the road and of course all you have to do is tap or stomp on the brake to release the advancement in speed. Unfortunately as I thought I would set the accelerator (at 53) because a CHP was following me so , fine did that and guess what I went to over 60 and was ticketed. I've never gotten a ticket with an advance bail set for $450.00 before. He was following me so close I could no even see him.
