I recently acquired a pencil drawing that I believe to be a legitimate work of Lowry's. Unfortunately there was no documentation accompanying it and without this it seems no gallery or auction house will take it seriously. Does anyone know the rules regarding provenance required to legitimize his work? Or can anyone recommend an expert who might be willing to discuss this work with me? Thanks
