I posted the same question last week but not on this forum. I also have several pieces made by the Dame furniture co. I have researched online and at the library but have found very little. I do know that they were originally the Dame Mantel Company in Knoxville TN. The company burned in 1890 and moved to Harriman TN. They added a short line of dressers and the demand was so great they gave up the Mantel business and began the manufacture of three oak dressers, with dressing tables and wash stands to match. As was already stated they were destroyed by the flood on the Emory river in 1929. I'm sure we would all like to know if our pieces are worth much!
