I planted a prunus cerasifera nigra about 3 weeks ago and surrounded it with good top soil before covering the hole over. I water with 2 pints of water each day. I noticed that the leaves have small holes in them and now the tree has lost 95 percent of its leaves! What has happened to it and what can I do about it.
