I own a small oilfield maintenance company, my spouse/ bookkeeper, I have just resently realized, has been writing company checks to our personal account, this account was set up for morgage payments, personal vehicle payments etc.
Our bills mabey total 2500.00 monthly, yet checks were cashed over the last year, aprox. 12000.00/ month. All the personal paper work has mysteriously disapeared? Iv'e also just been informed that she is leaving me.

She refuses to answer any questions. I think I can get account information from my bank, but does this sound like embezzlement? What information should I know. Everyone I talk to say's I need a lawyer, but is this spending good money after bad?
