I own a building here in Orlando (Orange County) and am changing the use of a Tenant space from Retail to Banquet Hall (Assembly). I have other spaces on the other side of a one hour firewall. Now with this change of use to Banquet Hall I am being required to increase the firewall to a 2 hour classification. I don't mind doing the first ten feet of the wall with drywall, but the upper 10 ft. (20ft total height) I would like to find out about a spray that can be approved by the local Planning Dept. and can save me time and effort in putting up a 20 ft. wall.
