I live on the Island of Malta. In certain areas " mid cliff fall" are remains of stone-built houses, walls, enclosures and possibly defensive walls. There are no written sources of information or references that IO can find that refer to specifically these areas of settlements.

Could these be the remains of Neolithic villages? How may I begin to identify the most salient features?
