I live in the Hague about thrity years ago. If my memory serves me the dutch men always took flowers to their spouse on Fridays, is this a dutch custom or did I see only a few that were overly in love and appreciative? If the husband oes take flowers to his wife every Friday what does she do in return if anything at all?
