I knew Stephen as a singer and actor in NYC (1970's). He then said he was from Chews Landing, NJ. Surprised that this bio states he was from Pennsylvania. If that were true,I believe he would have told me; he often visited my family's home in Bethlehem,Pa. We were very close friends , I was his music director for a number of years and performed with him throughout his NYC Caberet career. As Lil Abner, NBC TV Musical Special, his first feature after leaving New York.
