I just had an encounter with this skink in central Florida. It is known to be of western origin, but the pic is definitely the same as shown here. Are they known in FL? Also, I assume it could by direct relative of four-lined skink, as the one I encountered had a blue tail, dark body, and four yellow lines along its body. SOmeone let me know. Thanks

This is in reference to black squirrels. They are not as rare as many believe and based upon what I have just read, thr information provided seems a bit off, to say the least. Black squirrels are so common, that it is becoming a rarity seeing a grey squirrel. The State of New York runs rampant with black squirrels, from the Bronx to the western portion of the Canadian border. They are all along the eastern coastline and are found in every state down to the Florida keys. A Californian recently placed a visit to NY and was amazed at the site of all the black squirrels in a local Westchester County, NY park-what is common to us New Yorkers, is a rarity to those who reside near the Pacific,,who would have thought!!! Thanks for letting me get this on this site, cya!!
