I inherited a TE20 from my Dad. Tractor was built in Coventry, UK. So I believe it is a TE20. I had the starter re-built last year, but it finally got so it wouldn't turn-over at all.

I suspect it might be the starter switch. [You turn a key and then push the starter button.]

I would like to bypass the ignition system. I'm not sure how to "hot-wire", but from what I've read so far, seems it would be a matter of running a cable from the positive battery terminal to the coil. Am I correct in this? If not, what should I do?
