I hope that some of you knowledgable people out there may be of help im ancestry research. My father served with the 31st company RAMC between 1928 and 1935. Sadly he died many years ago and I have become vreally interested in exactly where he was and where he served his time in the army.
He was re mobilised in 1939 until 1945 although this time, I do not know with which unit, he served
His name was Charles bowes and I believe he ended his time as an RSM. If you can help, or suggest lines of research, I would be eternally grateful.
I have his service record but this does not say where he served or include the remobilised part of his service to tell me which company he was with.
I am awaiting information from the medals office.
I shall be very pleased to hear from anyone with information.
