I have visited this venue several times and found it to be super. The guide was able to explain the venue, its use, and its history superbly. My intention was to revisit the site with freinds of ours from Queensland Australia who are over in the UK for a short visit. Low and behold this historic site we found was no longer open to the general public. My question is if this site is part of my historical heritage WHY IS IT CLOSED, and not included in the Wirral Heritage Open days?.
