I have two questions.
1: Al2O3 and cryolite both are powder. How they are molted in the carbon-lined bath during Hall Heroult process. If you put two powders in the bath and apply 100,000 amperes then what will be the result. Please explain clearly and in detail how to molt cryolite and Al2O3 before applying 100,000 amperes.
2: In a country where the voltage is higher like 220v and the ampere is lower. Then how would you generate 100,000 amperes for Hall Heroult process. The formula is
ampere + voltage= watt
I am dealing with the situation where the voltage is higher like 220 while the ampere is lower. I don't know how th upgrade the ampere to get 100,000 watt.
