The distance between New York and Los Angeles is 4000km. By how much is the distance shortened when observed from:
i). A jetliner taking 6hours to fly between the city,
ii). A space shuttle (taking 1.5hours to orbit the earth 6500km radius above earth),
iii). A cosmic ray proton travelling at 0.9c.
